It’s been quite some time since we’ve updated everyone on the next issue of 80R. Japan’s borders continue to remain closed for all non-visa travel (and most visa travel for that matter) as part of their COVID-19 mitigation response. This greatly impacted NDF, our parent company, as well as our ability to produce Volume 3 as scheduled.
We are hoping for good news leading into 2022 as Japan progresses in their vaccination program, with the ideal outcome of open borders at the start of the Attack season. Even if we miss the season, we’re working to line up shop visits and features during the 2022 off-season as back up.
It’s not ideal, but we’ve been doing our best to make the most of these volatile times. We hope everyone is staying safe and able to still enjoy life. We’re still very much dedicated to bringing you the world’s only annual Japanese focused time attack publication. Thanks for sticking with us.
